I absolutely adore my Mother, but she is very difficult to buy gifts for. Not because she hates everything or only wants expensive things, but because she insists that she doesn't want anything, which is so annoying! Does anyone else have a mom like this? All you want to do is get something that they want, and they won't tell you anything!
It's even worse when your Dad is counting on you to figure out what he should get her as well. That's two gifts hints that you have to beg your Mom to give you.
Of course my Mom has already told me not to get her anything for Mother's Day, but of course I am going to ignore her. Below are some of the ideas I have come up with for what to get my Mom, and they are perfect last-minute gifts because they are super simple to get/find, require no planning and are relatively inexpensive.
A Beautiful Flower Arrangement
Something for Her Garden
Gift Card to Her Favorite Salon or Spa
Taker Her Out to Dinner at Her Favorite Restaurant
The Latest Book from Her Favorite Author
A Subscription to a Magazine You Know She Reads Regularly
A Couple of Bottles of Her Favorite Wine
When all else fails, go out and find the nicest card you can find (even if it's blank inside) and tell your Mom how much you love and appreciate her, because in reality, that is the best gift you can give her.
