Well, we've talked booze and clothes, and now it's time to get to my favorite part of any holiday celebration: DESSERT!
It's usually pretty hot over the 4th of July holiday and most people want to be outside with a drink rather than inside with an apron. Because of this, I wanted to include some easy, last minute recipes that you can whip up the morning of or the night before.

You can use the cookie recipe provided, or make things easier by using the Pillsbury cut and bake cookies from your local grocery store.
This is another easy one. All you need is the strawberries, white chocolate and some blue sugar or sprinkles.
I love this one because it's no-bake, which is always a plus when you don't have the luxury of central A/C. Another plus is that you make it the night before and leave in the fridge.
Store-bought puff pastry make this recipe much simpler than it looks.
The presentation for this dessert is great, but it's still super easy to put together. All you need is white chocolate, store-bought cones, sprinkles and fresh fruit.
So have you reached your red, white and blue food quota yet?
I'm still pulling together my 4th of July BBQ recipes, but stay tuned! I'm hoping to have them ready by tonight or tomorrow morning.
