I am usually really bad about planning my outfit in advance and I end up running around my house in a frenzy looking for something to wear. This year I decided to be proactive and put some outfit ideas together to get some inspiration.

I love jewel tones for the holidays, and this blue dress is perfect for a party that is a bit on the formal side.

I am in love with this Marchesa dress. I can never say no to a pretty bow for some reason. The gold accessories and simple black pumps add to the outfit without going over the top. When you have a bow this big, you need to let it take center stage.

Whatever you choose to wear, make sure you feel your best and are comfortable with your outfit choice. Don't wear a mini dress if you know you will be tugging it down all night and stick to a 3-inch heel if you know the 5-inch skyscrapers are going keep you off the dance floor.
